Stretch: a series of asanas designed to increase flexibility, elongate and define muscles,
increase circulation, release tension and promote relaxation.
Power: a series of asanas designed to build core strength, tone the muscles and strengthen
energy whilst maintaining flexibility.
Vinyasa: beginner vinyasa sets based on the four elements. Two sets each for power and stretch
classes, usually practised one week in the month.
Yoga therapy: a very beginner class. consisting of the application of yogic principles, methods, and
techniques to specific human ailments. In its ideal application, Yoga therapy is preventive in nature, but it is
also restorative in many instances, palliative and curative.
Kundalini – Kundalini yoga is the science, art & technology that enables one to experience their true consciousness & highest level of awareness. Each class is different and goes beyond a “simple calisthenics series”. In a class we have a combination os Asanas, Pranayamas, Mudras, Bhandas, Chanting & meditation which is known as a “Kriya”. Classes are 1 hour in length. Each week of the month a different yoga series is taught concentrating on a particular principle of yoga that will deepen your practise. The stretch and power classes compliment each other every week. Each class has a variety of asana levels to work towards no matter your experience.
